I watched the two alternative endings. Desmond did not make sense if he was in the coffin. Sawyer would be more likely but then why would Kate not want to go to the Funeral. I think they picked the wrong actors for the foiler scenes.

Using people already dead does make sense. I wonder if one of the reason they told the story of extra people is because of the testimony Jack had to say about Kate. How she helped everyone and I think he said she tried to save the lives of the people who died. I guess making her more of a heroin.

In the Tranmission podcast, that was just released, they tell you of some scenes that were cut. In one of the scenes the mention of the 3 other people who survived where Charlie, Libby and Boone.

I haven't looked at the spoiler. But I'm 99% sure it's Ben. He knows where the island is. He's neither Jack's friend or family. He has no one who would come to his funeral off of the island. Why is Hurley still going with Locke and Ben if he wants to get off the island? Last episode he said that he didn't want to go back to the beach because he would be scary at night (i think he said it that way). Did he still just go with them because it was still dark outside?
