Hey guys,

Fellow LLDer Dawn set up a Twitter to catch the highlights of the podcast. I think it's a great idea. And she's right, who has the time?

Go Dawn! I was in the Joshmeister's chatroom last night (diesel929), along with vickih (bailybear) when you mentioned you were going to do this. I didn't realize you could turn it around so quickly. Go you!
Justin, I am in the same boat. i do not understand twitter either. I will need to read that tutorial.

is this a collaborative group thing? that could be useful. so can i text like "#56 2:31:30 claude makes a business card reference. he is not an auto mechanic." and it will go to that page?

also I take offense at the following sentence: " Claude and Justin of The LOST Lowdown Podcast are hysterical, but who has time to listen to the whole thing?"

Umm you don't have to 'get' twitter, you dont even have to sign up for it!
Just go to http://www.twitter.com/TLLhighlights
and each entry is the # of the episode - title of the bit I thought was funny - time at which you'll find that bit on the hipcast player, which you will be whisked away to when you click the snipr link.

I remembered that one sawyer bit cause it was the funniest thing ever and went back to find it.
There was also a great bit in eggtown where they were on about how Claire thinks she makes great coffee now and contemplates opening a coffee shop when she gets off the island. But i couldnt find it :(

Feel free to submit any ideas you have, especially if you have the time/episode in which to find it. Finding the time is the hard part!!!

PS my plans are pretty much to listen to each episode and tweet the good parts as they make me laugh ;)
any old funny stuff will most likely come from you!!!

If you're listening to the LLD on the hipcast and you don't have a portable mp3 player I can understand not having the time to listen to a 5hr podcast. The only reason I can listen to it so much/often is with the aid of a portable mp3 player.

That is, unless you have a lot of spreadsheets to collate.

I didn't even get to finish the Jughead one b4 Wed. this week. Feel free to help me out if you ever feel the need! :)

I read this after I posted my own "Sun is the worst babysitter ever" .. i debated the chocolate gun... now I'm wondering if I made the right choice ;)

It's been several days and no one has used the phrase "Death by Chocolate". I must applaud the restraint and discipline.

Hi Everyone - Lost Lowdown Twitter update....
I got a brand new job since the day I decided to start tweeting highlights and I was all in training classes and such and didn't have time to listen!
But now I'm working on my own at my own desk and when the boys put the podcast up before tuesday I can usually tweet the whole thing in time for folks to get the highlights before the next episode!

I've revised the format to just: episode # highlight title time
and I pretty much use the time on my mp3 player which is hh:mm:ss

I'm starting to get good at it.
And the boys this week were in rare form I have to say :)
Shame the season's going to end in a few episodes!

I got lamer and now I just tweet ideas ;)
But I'm getting it done now.
Shame its the end of the season cause I just got the hang of fitting this into my busy lifestyle :)

I'm sure it'll take me a week or so to tweet the finale episode so there's plenty more to come.
