I was always confused where the rest of the world thought the Losties were all that time. I was thinking like a rescue boat or something. But Dr. Shephard said "An island in the South Pacific". So does the world just accept nobody can find this island?
Or maybe it's like in Harry Potter. Hogwarts has spells on it so if a non-wizard looks at it it looks like an old abandoned factory with a "Caution: do not enter" sign on it. Maybe outsiders just see a small island with no bodies (B-O-D-Y-S) or Dharma stations.

I was soo happy when Jack was placed under oath. The entire time they were asking him questions, I kept expecting the smoke monster to show up for someone to get shot so he couldn't answer anything. When Kate stood up, I was like "yup, knew it had to be something."
