Helicopter/Freighter

Clearly it was Frank's fault they didn't get to the Freighter properly.
Dan said to follow the exact bearing they came in on...
Then what does Frank do? ...
He follows a straight line as the heli flies towards the camera (39:44), then makes a very sudden turn off to the right (39:58). That really isn't following the bearing exactly. (Scene of heli leaving from "The Economist")
Maybe he had a few shots before taking off so he forgot what Dan said.
