Aren't all recordings recorded live?

I guess you could record something, and then record that recording...

Just Say NO to Live Podcasts!

Wait... I don't recall Claude and Justin "hinting" at a live podcast, only trying to avoid the awkwardness that would have surely resulted had they answered "no!" when someone put them on the spot by asking them this question during the last live podcast. Look, can't we just enjoy for awhile the fact that we now have a forum through which we Lost Lowdown listeners can discuss topics amongst ourselves, respond to podcast questions, and have our voices heard? In my opinion, it would be better to only have live podcasts on special occasions...

Having regular live podcasts would disrupt the beautiful, elegant formula that makes the Lost Lowdown such a special podcast. I listen to the Lost Lowdown because I love the conversation that organically develops from Claude and Justin just talking about Lost. Live podcasting disrupts that natural form of the conversation, because they are obliged to respond to the stupid things we say in the chatroom. The next thing you will want is a listener feedback section on the podcast! Let's just be happy with this forum and making demands on Claude and Justin. Its their podcast, not (y)ours.

Hey, just my suggestion. They can always say no. I find them funny no matter what so I don't mind if they don't wanna do em.

Oh, and NO, no one should EVER want a listener feedback section. Some of those listener theories made me cringe when I used to listen to them.

Hey guys, the next podcast won't be live. We're intrigued by the idea of doing a regular podcast about a new episode--it's been so long.

actually, they did acknowledge that the next podcast might be live, after they stopped recording while some of us were still in the room. that being said, i agree with you that they should do live ones only on special occassions. i am very glad the next one will only be "recorded live." peace.

Even if they make it live, they don't need to respond to the people in the chat room's comments, or do they have to record at some "nice" hour of the day since I imagine they would often record much later than a 5 or 6pm start. Plus it doesn't matter for me :) Some late hour there would be a comfortable afternoon time for me, hehe. Either way, I don't mind, only a suggestion.

Jeez, must seem like I'm some sort of live podcast nut. Well I'm not. :P

I don't like sitting in front of the computer doing something I could be doing somewhere else. I'd rather listen to a non-live podcast and be doing something somewhat productive.

Not like you have to be in the chat room.
