Nope, sorry. No fancy theory here.
Just wanted to say that I wanted the pendulum to hit Desmond when he walked by it.
The Mystical Swinging Pendulum
Re: The Mystical Swinging Pendulum
I kept waiting for it to happen.
Speaking of Desmond, where does his character go from here?

Desmond gets the award for best choreographed indignance. He danced around that pendulum like a pro.
Re: The Mystical Swinging Pendulum
I know, I just rewatched that and he would only be seeing it in his peripheral vision.
Aha! I've got it! Desmond's brain works like the machine itself.
Now while the movements of the Pendulum seem random, this Desmond's brain has created a series of equations which tells him, with a high degree of probability, where it is going to be at a certain point... in time.

It's apparently the other "one great thing" he will do!Claude wrote:Desmond gets the award for best choreographed indignance. He danced around that pendulum like a pro.

The thing that caught my eye was the "black void" that the pendulum seemed to be connected to. It was like it wasn't connected to anything. They showed a shot looking up at the rope or whatever it was holding it, and it was like it just went up to nothingness. It sorta stuck out to me because they focused on it for a second or two.

Sawyer is holding on to to the other end of the rope back on the island.420brownie wrote:The thing that caught my eye was the "black void" that the pendulum seemed to be connected to.
