What makes you so sure they landed in the present?

We know that they are in 2007 based on the "thirty years earlier" screen when they cut to 1977. We know that the present day is 2007 because Jack told Sawyer it had been three years since the helicopter. The helicopter scene happened at the end of 2004.
It's not just the torn up barracks to gets to me. It's the fact that there was Dharma signs all over the place and Dharma pictures on the walls. This is stuff that the others would have no doubt taken down.
