This is from the transcript for s501 copied from Lostpedia:

[In a hotel room, Jack stands over a sink, having just finished shaving off his beard. A male newscaster speaks indistinctly on the television. Ben is packing his clothes. Jack splashes water on his face and dries it with a towel.]

JACK: So once we get Hurley... then what?

BEN: Then we get Sun, Sayid... and Kate, of course.

JACK: I don't see that happening.

[The newscaster continues speaking indistinctly. Jack sits down on one of the hotel beds.]

JACK: When was the last time you saw him? I mean, Locke.

BEN: [Sighs] On the Island... in the Orchid station, below the greenhouse. I told him I was sorry for making his life so miserable, and then he left. So obviously John's visit to you made an impression. What did he say to make you such a believer?
JACK: Sawyer, Juliet, everyone from the boat... and everyone we left behind--John said that they'd die, too, if I didn't come back.
BEN: Did he tell you what happened to them after the Island moved?

JACK: No. No, he didn't.

BEN: Then I guess we'll never know.

But in this last episode. Ep505. Ben has Jin's Ring. How did he get it without meeting with Locke?
I guess he could have claimed his body or went to his house after he died but what if Ben did meet with Locke? What if Ben Killed Locke? Or have him killed?

Jack: "I thought you said he didn't visit you?"

Ben: "He didn't, I visited him."

Ben has admitted to seeing Locke.

As for Ben's lie in the hotel room...Ben is all about technicalities. He would say, "I haven't seen Locke since I left the island, but I did see a man named Bentham."

thanks for clearing that up. i didn't remember that. but do you think Ben had anything to do with Locke's death?

I dont know, even for Ben that lie is pretty hard to defend. Even if his justification is that he saw "Bentham," Bentham is Locke nevertheless. Ben lied. Shocker.
