Jen - the first thing I thought of when C&J kept mentioning the Special Purpose was the Steve Martin/The Jerk reference - glad you brought it up - thought it was just me!

Alan Dale's done a lot of acting with an Aus accent so it also catches on, as any accent does after enough time.
