The Lost Lowdown

With the final season on the horizon, it's likely that they'll spend next season wrapping up the story lines of many of our original season 1 characters. I thought I take a look at each of the original 16 characters of season 1 Lost, where they are now, and where I think they'll end up.

Jack - 1977 bomb detonation
Kate - 1977 bomb detonation
Sawyer - 1977 bomb detonation
Jin - 1977 bomb detonation
Hurley - 1977 bomb detonation
Sayid - 1977 bomb detonation
Rose - 1977 retirement
Sun - 2007 with the others
Aaron - 2007 with Grandma
Walt - 2007 off-island (taller)

Claire - possibly dead/missing

Locke - dead (killed by Ben)
Michael - dead (freighter explosion)
Boone - dead (beechcraft incident)
Shannon - dead (shot by Ana-Lucia)
Charlie - dead (drowned)

Survive until the end: Jack, Kate, Sawyer, Jin, Sun, Hurley, Claire, Aaron, and Walt.

Die in season 6: I think Sayid will die a heroic death. Rose will be one of the bodies in the caves.

Of the five dead characters, I think Locke, Michael, and Charlie will all make appearances in the final season.
