The Lost Lowdown

I have an even worse misunderstanding of the name New Kids on the Block. I was about 8 years old and these girls who lived in my neighborhood starting talking about there being new kids on the block. It took me at least a week to realize that we didn't have new neighbors in the neighborhood. I might have even uttered the following question, "so which house did the new kids move into?" That was promptly following by a, "what the hell are you talking about?"
