Great podcast, guys! I have lots of things to say but I forgot them all. Only thing I can remember is from the end: I think the "secret entrance" that Jin speaks of is the hole in that corner that he saw Danielle & Co. use to try to get in. Wait or was that a Cerberus vent?

There are 19683 possible tic-tac-toe board layouts and 362880 possible sequences.

OK, so I was off by 3 orders of magnitude...

LOL. If you ignore the sequence, there are only 138 possible outcomes.

I must have been ignoring the sequence then! Glad we cleared that up.

What I had in mind is that there are 2^9 = 512 different ways of putting X and O on a tic tac toe board. Many of these are not possible outcomes of a game, so I figured
it would reduce to something in the 100s.

Hey guys. This is the first podcast of yours I have heard, currently up to 5 hours and still listening, I thought it was going to be many weeks episodes put together, but this is just one long one yes ? Wow, that is commitment for you. How did you manage to chat so long on one episode ? Amazing really. I work from home so it is good to put something like this on in the background, very calm and interesting to a Lost fan.

My only small niggle (is that another British saying, as I am British, I say this after hearing your Tic Tac Toe / Noughts and Crosses comment, haha) I have is there are SO many "you know"s said throughout, almost every sentence this is said. I am sure it is just because of how long it is that I notice it, but I just thought if you didn't know you were saying it a lot, then now you do :)

Oh and upon hearing your energy drink comments, we have had Lucozade over here for decades, that was probably our first energy drink, but the first one aimed at gamers and "youth" was Jolt I think. Oh and I also think Claire looks different now to how she used to, her face appears very squashed now.

It is really good, enjoying it, keep up the great work :)

Oh, yeah, you know, we know, you know. It's a verbal crutch of mine. At this point, I think I'm powerless to stop it.

No problem, I think I can live with it :) I think it is just because the show is so long (which is a great thing) that I pick up on it more then if it was an hour or less. It is probably a regional thing too, just what they say in your neck of the woods probably.

I don't even think Kate is old enough to be David's father. I don't know about the characters, but apparently Evangeline Lilly is 30 and Matthew Fox is 43.

edit:

RE: comic-con kate wanted video

This whole flash-sideways business kind of reminds me of Run Lola Run. The plane crash scenario is one of the first 2 timelines, but the flash-sideways is the one in which Lola wins the 100,000 marks at the casino and Manni gets his 100,000 back from the bum. (spoiler alert).

Also, nice Malcolm Gladwell and Spinal Tap references...

ALSO... if this isn't too personal, just curious, how often do/when was the last time Claude and Justin saw/see each other in real life?

PS: i'm listening to the latest podcast for the 3rd time right now.... lots of spreadsheets, you might say.
