Poll: Do you like the Initial Reaction podcasts?

Post by Claude »

Seems like the IRP damped the fervor of the latest podcast. Or did the episode do that? ;)

i really liked the initial reaction podcast, but it was too much of a tease. in the future i'd prefer to wait for the full lld. actually i'd prefer not to wait, but i have no choice. just like your conversation about the red shirts and the numbers and bracelets, sometimes public opinion is fickle and people don;t know what they want. maybe you should take a cue from yourselves and not listen to the fans.

I think a touche is in order.

That's either an insult or a compliment, depending on the episode. And whether or not I have pants on.

That's a lot of quoting.
I agree with paul though, too much of a tease.

Yeah, I like the excitement and anticipation of the wait for a new LLD, almost as much as Justin likes overflowing toilets.

It's just building and building and building and WHOOOOOOSH...there's no stopping it!!! HA HA HA!!! Awesome - you just gotta give in and enjoy all the science involved...and poetry, I think...

Anyway: my sense of the IRP is that you guys were holding back (like a toilet ALMOST overflowing) and that you stopped, even though you wanted to continue, WHICH WAS TOO MUCH FOR ME - I WANTED THE OVERFLOWING!!!!...like the others noted, maybe it was too contained...(that said, I'd rather have an IRP than no IRP - I think it's like a dog that would rather get smacked than get no loving at all...)

I really prefer the 6 and a half hours, to a few minutes. I like my podcasts drawn out. But that could just be me...

I liked the fact that I didn't have to wait a long time to start listening to some LLD content. That being said, it wasn't as good as a "real" podcast, but I still enjoyed every minute of it :>)
