It was announced today that the finale has been extended to 2.5 hours.

They originally had scheduled the week off immediately before the finale, but moved it to last night. Now we'll get finale only 5 days after episode 16 airs on 5/18. I can't believe there's only 5 hours of show left.

David, do you actually expect the answers on LOST to be completely satisfying? I think any answer they give us is bound to be inconsistent with something or another over the past six years... I've thought of the possibility.

A couple of scenarios...

MIB is slowly becoming Locke, and he knows it. This could explain Locke's personality bleeding through, and MIB's continous degradation of Locke.

or

MIB's soul is destroyed in the end, and Locke re-enters the body.

In LAX, Desmond wore a brown suit and a wedding ring. In Happily Ever After, he came off the plane wearing a gray suit and no wedding ring.

5. Quite sure it was smokey. Those folks had been dead a while, Widmore just showed up. Plus, I believe in a previous episode smokey made a comment about "taking care" of the people on the hydra island. If it was Smokey, I wonder if that's why he wanted Ben to go to the Hydra Island.
