A strange request.
So. Miles wants Ben to give him $3.2 million? My reaction was the same as Ben's. Why exactly $3.2 million. I'm wondering if this is another code. We know the freightees like their code phrases.

Oceanic Six Updates
Now that Aaron is off the island, that would seem to take Claire off of the list of possibilities for the Oceanic 6. Does Aaron count as the 5th of 6? According to their story, eight survived the crash, and that Kate kept 5 alive meaning that they are claiming two people died on the island. What's t...

Island and Real World times.
OK, after about an hour debate, it seemed that you guys reluctantly settled on time running slower on the island than it does in the real world. Well...that creates a few problems. First of all, we've has at least two instances where we've been shown that time on the island is the same as the rest o...

Re: The payload rocket.
As covered in my other thread, no rocket can travel 150 km (80 nautical miles) in such a short time. If it had gone 150 km in one minute, that would be 9,000 kph, or seven times the speed of sound. If it did it in thirty minutes, that is a reasonable 300 kph. So realilistically, it probably got the...

The payload rocket.
I've heard a few theories about the time difference between the clock inside the payload rocket and beacon clock. So far it seems there are holes in the theories, but I've got my own theory. First I'll go over others I've heard. The most common theory that I've seen is that the island is 31 minutes ...

Desmond's visions of Claire and Aaron.
Every vision Desmond had last season was of a event he would be present to witness in the future. How could he have a vision of Claire and Aaron getting on a helicopter, if he's not even on the island? Does that mean he'll soon be back on the island? Was he lying in hopes of getting himself off the ...

Re: Ben a surprise to anyone?
You could clearly tell it was him, talking a little slower and lower, but clearly him. I actually realized he would be working for Ben when he made the comment at the barracks about selling his soul before helping or working for Ben or whatever he said. I knew right away it was Ben he was working fo...

Re: Ben's man on the boat
My guess on Annie is that Ben got her pregnant and she died which is a big reason why he seemed so obsessed with fixing that problem and seemed so upset after Juliet failed to keep Sabine alive. (Richard telling Locke "Ben has been wasting our time with novelties like fertility problems") So I don'...

Re: The Oceanic Six.
Based on her circumstances and the crash and everything. I think the prosecutors will work a deal with her for fear that the jury will sympathize with what she's been through. Probably wouldn't happen in real life, but they need some way to keep her from going to jail. I just can't see her being abl...

Re: Its official - 13 Episodes
I read that they will air the first seven episodes, then take six weeks off, then combine episode 4.08 with the extra five to create a 6 episode pod to close out the season. Quotes from Damon Lidelof: "We are going to execute our full story plan for season four," D.L. says. "This simply requires a s...

Desmond not in episode 4.2
I haven't finished the entire podcast so this might have been brought up later. You guys mentioned that Desmond wasn't in this episode. There's a simple reason why he couldn't be in the episode. The freighters cover story was originally Desmond. If Desmond would have been standing there it would hav...

Re: Ben's man on the boat
I first thought about Michael, but then that didn't make sense to me. How could be be communicating with Michael? At what point was there an agreement made that he would be a spy? Annie is a possibility but where do the rest of the others think she is? On assignment in Canada? I think there could be...

A polar bear from the Hydra Station ends up in Tunisia? That's almost as wierd as a Nigerian drug plane ending up on the island. Wormhole anyone?

Confirmed dead? *Spoilerish*
If you have seen promos for next week's episode then this won't be spoiler, but if you avoid promos then don't read any further. Basically, there is now an extended promo, where it would seem the people confirmed dead would be the passengers of Oceanic Flight 815. As in, they find the plane in the o...

Re: Michael not in the coffin... I guess
I'm not sure if this was mentioned on this podcast, or if I heard it somewhere else, but its unlikely that anyone that was on the plane is the person in the coffin. The Oceanic survivors are celebrities now. If one were to die by hanging themselve, it would be a media event. The viewing/funeral woul...

The Oceanic Six.
We know there's Jack, Kate, and Hurley. Who are the other three? Any guesses? I'd say Sun is a candidate. If she stays, she dies. Based on Hurley's conversation with Big Mike, I'd say that the world is under the impression that the "Six" are the only people that survived the crash. Why are they havi...

Maybe the igloo Hurley was painting was another clue. Also, speaking of Santa Claus, being day 91 on the island, it's only 3 days until Christmas.

Re: Whispers
It was Jack's dad and Jacob in the cabin. Jack's dad was in the chair and the eye was Jacob's eye. If it was a hallucination, it was a hallucnation the island was making him have, because he's never seen either of these two people before.
