Re: lolz

I think it might be less about being playful/reserved and maybe more about how much you're willing to put into taking care of an animal. Dogs need way more attention than cats. But dogs, I think, are more grateful, and give back more. When you see homeless guy trekking down the highway, you'll see a...

The worst thing about lolcatz (besides the lol and the z) is that it's about cats. Cats just aren't jokesters. I could see a dog being playful enough to pull off some of that stuff. I think the problem with the "Island" is that it might be specifically "Jacob." In that case, I would expect it to be biased and unyielding in its power, since "Jacob" suggest a person of some sort, with a will and perhaps emotions. Very astute observation. I had the same notion when I saw the passport and heard the titular line, but being a bit confused about the state of the space-time continuum in this episode (having to deal with Tom in the past, who is dead in the future, which is the present--ah he's gay), yeah my mind wa...

I think the idea is that the production crew only rented one helicopter. There are supposed to be two, but since the first one crashed (a cgi shot) they only really need to have one. Of course, the one problem with this plan is that one scene where there should be two. I bet they didn't want to rent...

Yeah, but is he really talking o ghosts that follow people around? I like to think that he has the ability to sort of read people. To know what's true, what's not. Yeah, but if Michael was an Oceanic Sixer it would crowd his character too much. Making him part of the Oceanic 6 would just add distractions from what we ...

Ok, so here's some strangeness concerning Michael being one of the six. We know he's using an alias on the freighter, the Kevin Johnson business. I think Regina is dead largely because I think they're trying to illustrate the state of the crew on the ship. If she's not dead, then they aren't making the statement "this is how bad things are." I really didn't appreciate the "twist" in this episode. It would have been different if they were actually imparting information. But 90% of the reveal was just obvious manipulation.
