Worried that someone might realize that he was on Oceanic 815 if he uses his real name. What I didn't get is why the Oceanic 6 and Walt all used the name. Obviously, it was to set up the surprise ending, but would they all have went around saying Bentham's dead?

I don't think he commited suicide, as the obit would suggest. I'm guessing one of Widmore's men did it. I don't know, maybe one day we'll find out that Ben had Sayid do it.

Maybe they (the Six) find out John Locke isn't his real name, but Jeremy Bentham is the name he was supposed to have, as the Island leader. I bet we'll find out Jacob was once know by a different name before he became the crazy island figure.

Kinda like Ben. Once everyone found out his name was Ben, he was never referred to as Henry again.

Either that or there is some sort of time travel where Locke is adopted by Richard or someone and given that name.

I'm glad I am not as up on English philosophers as I should be.
