Widmore on the island before.

I'm on the part of the podcast where you guys are discussing the London flashforward. Prior to listening to the podcast, when Sun says, "as you know, we're not the only ones who left the island", I assumed she meant Desmond. I didn't really get why she was bringing that up.
Now that I've thought of other options, I think she is talking about either Widmore or Ben.
If the common interest is finding Ben, then I think she is referring to Ben leaving the island.
If the common interest is finding the island, then I think she is referring to Widmore leaving the island.
