Phil is totally gonna die. At the very least he'll go in The Purge. However, I'm hopin' for some kind unwitting run-in with a plot-devicey explosion before the end of this season. That would be cool and consistent with the way those LOST writers do.

I hope Sawyer takes him to the Blackrock and chokes him to death with a chain. Because that was the most intense network TV murder I have ever seen.

I don't think Sawyer can kill Phil, they've been trying to build him up as a hero and him killing Phil, who has done nothing wrong except do his job will make sawyer too unheroic. Maybe if it was someone like Sayid who was holding Phil hostage then I might believe that he was gonna be killed but with Sawyer, no absolutely not.I think he will explain everything to Phil and whenever they go back to the future Phil will come with them.
