Tawaret/Sobek

There's a recap of the finale on ABC.com and they identify the statue as Tawaret. I guess that confirms it. Tawaret is the one that actually is depicted as a hippo, and Sobek as a crocodile. I thought the statue look more crocodilian, but I guess I was wrong.
Tawaret it is. Fertility and childbirth. That makes me want to believe the theory from the podcast that the childbirth problems happened when the statue was destroyed, but we've seen the statue gone after the final time flash that put them in 1974 and we've seen childbirth as late as 1977. Unless we are to believe Amy and Mrs. Chang conceived off island.
