The Lost Lowdown

You guys questioned what was done with the barracks when they weren't filming Lost. The location is actually home to a YMCA campground called Camp Erdman.

It's actually across the street from the ocean and just a few feet away from a street.

When they've blown up or driven a van through a house, they just build a facade identical to one of the houses.

By the way. The interior shots are filmed inside a studio, hence the reason for only one set for multiple houses.
